Food and service were very good! One of us had tortilla soup; another fajitas; another had veggie nachos; and another had a spicy shrimp dish. Everyone liked their meal mucho. However, the music on Sunday night was so loud it hurt our ears. We could not hear each other while trying to "catch up " with friends we hosted. Our server kindly set us up outside and provided two tower heaters which was swell. We enjoyed our privacy and the meal. The musicians perform there only a few nights per week but I'm not sure of their schedule.

Best Mexican food out there! Love the staff and Bartenders are amazing with their drinks. Staff is great and quick with the food and drinks. Ambiance is nice. They have music Fridays when we were there. We are forever customers now OMG! Thank you!

I like this place. This is why I decided to have lunch here today. My enchilada was great. The rice and beans were great. The service was excellent. And then I got the bill. Needless to say, I was shocked when I saw a charge for salsa in the amount of $1.75. No one told me about this charge. So I asked the wonderful server when did this happen? She said about six months ago. I said no. I was here within that timeframe and I did not get a charge for that so why charge for salsa and not inform me beforehand? I'm bothered by it.

a very social, busy and fun ambiance is what you feel inside Mazatlan Restaurant. my friend and i came in around 1PM; although busy, accommodation is fast and smooth. there is a bar with plenty alcoholic options, and live sports were great to see. those 49ers suck fr we were quickly helped, and served chips with salsa: very good flavor. we both ordered wet burritos, with shredded chicken, only difference mines being green, and my friend's a red one. we both approve of the burritos: good portion, good flavor to the shredded chicken and well put together. only downside was the burrito was not wet enough, not much sauce to drown it. also, i dont think ive ever got lettuce served as a side with a burrito, but it was okay. my friend, not a fan this is the type of restaurant i would love to take the family and friends to, and i recommend it

Came here late on a Saturday night when most Mexican places were closing. Fresh and tasty chicken tortilla soup. We also tried the tequila lime chicken and it was pretty good. The place is clean with a cool fireplace for ambiance, and the tables had the clase azul bottlles for their vases

We are from Veracruz Mexico, so we are really picky about seafood. The food here is very tasty and very comparable to what you would get in the costs of Mexico. The service is great and the ambience eccelkt

Loved the food, drinks looked pretty and tasted yummy. They have an app to play music on the juke box. they had live mariachi !!!!

Came by for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess who took us to our table immediately. The service here was excellent! Our server & everyone else who came by were very attentive, we felt very well taken care of. The food was really good too, their menu was quite large with a variety of food options for everyone -- they even offer vegetarian dishes. My husband & I ordered a delicious molcajete mix to share, typically they're quite full & enough for 2-3 people. To our surprise this molcajete was not full & he & I finished the entire thing with a little extra room in our stomachs. Next time we'll just know to order our own!

Come during happy hour! It feels like I'm in Tijuana again. The music, the atmosphere, the food, the people... what an authentic experience here. It's in the corner of a shopping center hidden away. I like that. You're greeted by a nice hostess. Everyone is wearing all black like a uniform. There's a jukebox to play your own songs but there's already cultural music playing and I prefer that. The drinks are strong and staff will make sure you're attended to the entire time. You get free chips and red salsa. Chips are light and crispy. Salsa is bursting with flavor and not spicy. Flautas are full of meat and topped with guacamole, sour cream and lettuce. Ceviche has plenty of shrimp and was the star of this visit. I'm ordering a second one as I'm writing this.
